How Does Homemade Lipstick Work?
Sometimes you pass by makeup and fall in love with a particular lipstick color and convince yourself you need it. You use the money you were saving on the lipstick only to later find out that it did not suit you at all.
Not only was the expensive lip color super drying but it also made your lips dark. This has happened to almost all people who use lipsticks in their routine. Why does this happen?
Surprisingly, many of the lipsticks are loaded with chemicals and toxins. According to research, some of the commonly used lip colors were found to have traces of lead in them.
In this scary situation where you do not want to risk your health and lips but still want nice lip colors, you can resort to making your own lipsticks. These lipsticks will keep your lips hydrated as well as make them the color you desire.
Where does the coloring in the lipstick come from? Many recipes use food coloring or similar products for adding hues. The recipe provided here also uses natural ingredients for the color of your lipstick. Try the recipe for moisturizing, safe lipsticks.
